By the grace of Allah Almighty Wolverhampton branch of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) illuminated the Bait-ul-Atta Mosque with the resounding echoes of peace on March 30, 2024, during the distinguished Voices for Peace event.
Guided by the unwavering message of His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, attendees united in a powerful call to action: to cease hostilities, establish unwavering justice, and safeguard the innocence so often caught in the crossfire of conflict. Under His Holiness’s visionary leadership, the Voices for Peace initiative has transcended borders, igniting a global movement for change. Notably, echoes of this call reverberated within the hallowed halls of the Houses of Parliament, where luminaries like the Palestinian Ambassador to the UK, Husam Zomlot, lent their voices to the urgent plea for peace.
A gathering of over 50 esteemed guests graced the occasion, including illustrious figures such as the Police and Crime Commissioner of West Midlands, the esteemed Mayors of West Midlands, Wolverhampton, and Walsall. Their presence, alongside a diverse array of counselors, servicemen and women, educators, and cherished friends of the Jama’at, underscored the universal appeal of the message of peace.
Amidst the ornate arches of the mosque, an illustrious panel of speakers enraptured the audience with impassioned pleas and profound insights into the transformative power of peace. Their words resonated, weaving a tapestry of hope and solidarity that transcended boundaries and ideologies.
